Baseball camp planned at Hart Field

The Hitting Zone Baseball Academy is holding camps for kids who want to become better ball players.

Activities for the camp include competitions throughout the week such as Olympics, slip and slide, trivia and a whiffle-ball world series.

Kids ages 9 though 12 will have three opportunities to attend the camp.

The South Hill camp will be held Monday through June 28 at Hart Field, 400 E. 37th Ave.

The North Side camp will be July 16 through 19 at Mt. Spokane High School, 6015 E. Mount Spokane Park Drive.

The Spokane Valley camp will be July 30 through Aug. 2 at University High School, 12420 E. 32nd Ave.

All camps are from 9 a.m. to noon.

The cost is $95 and includes a camp T-shirt.

Kids ages 6 through 8 can attend camp June 29 at Hart Field, July 20 at Mt. Spokane High School and Aug. 3 at University High School.

The camps for this age group are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The cost is $40 and includes a T-shirt.
