The Spokane RiverHawks completed a three-game sweep of the West Division leaders, the Corvallis Knights, with a West Coast Collegiate Baseball League doubleheader sweep, 7-3 and 5-1, at Gonzaga University’s Patterson Baseball Complex.

A three-run triple by Bryan Horst led to a four-run third inning and a 7-3 victory in the seven-inning opener.

Spokane added three more runs on four hits and an error in the fourth.

Max Navalinksi joined Horst in leading the RiverHawks (7-8) with two hits apiece.

Craig Sitton picked up the victory with a five-inning start giving up two earned runs on three hits while striking out six.

The second game was shortened to six innings by rain. Brian Yardley was 3 for 3 with two RBIs and Michael Hur added two hits and an RBI.

Kevin Dickey pitched all six innings, giving up four hits and a run, to get the win over the Knights (9-6). He struck out four.

The RiverHawks take the next three days off before resuming play Tuesday at Bend.
