NIC graduation Friday

The Spokesman-Review

COEUR D’ALENE – Some 350 North Idaho College graduates will don caps and gowns to participate in this year’s commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday in Christianson Gymnasium on NIC’s main campus.

More than 500 NIC students are eligible for graduation, and an estimated 350 students from both academic and professional-technical programs are expected to participate in the ceremony.

This year’s speaker will be David Cunnington, an NIC biology instructor since 1991 who has been selected twice to receive the prestigious Faculty Achievement Award.

Because limited seating will be available, guest tickets are distributed to graduates, and people will be admitted to the ceremony only with a ticket.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early for best seating and parking. No parking permits will be required on graduation day.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on Adelphia Channel 19 at 10 a.m.

Videos of commencement also will be available for purchase one week later for $20 each. Call Instructional Media Services for video information at 769-3429.
