Pleaded An Illinois insurance executive pleaded guilty Tuesday to secretly shooting nude videos of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews, who repeatedly called her stalker a sexual predator and said she hopes he “never sees the light of day.” Michael David Barrett pleaded guilty to interstate stalking after Andrews urged the judge to give him a harsh sentence and not allow him out on bail.

Announced Texas Rangers owner Tom Hicks will enter into an exclusive negotiation for the sale of the team to a group that is headed by Pittsburgh sports attorney Chuck Greenberg and includes team president Nolan Ryan. Hicks Sports Group said that Greenberg’s group “primarily consists of Dallas-Fort Worth investors,” including the family of Hicks, who would maintain a stake in the ownership of the team under the proposal. Ryan would remain president of the team.

Uncertain All-Pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has a bruised bone and a sprained right knee, leaving his status uncertain for the Arizona Cardinals’ game Sunday at Detroit. The Cardinals said an MRI determined the extent of the injury but showed no more significant damage.

Healing U.S. Olympic bobsled veteran Todd Hays’ brain injury could heal within three months and without surgery, an outstanding prognosis for the man who dropped his bid to make the Vancouver Games and retired after learning the extent of damage sustained in a training crash last week. Hays will need further evaluation of the bleeding in his brain and will be monitored for weeks, but has full neurological function.

Released Rams guard Richie Incognito was released by St. Louis, two days after coach Steve Spagnuolo benched the temperamental offensive guard for the second half of a loss at Tennessee.

Suspended Minnesota Vikings backup linebacker Erin Henderson has been suspended for four games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance- enhancing substances. The NFL does not specify the substances for which players test positive.

Acquired The Chicago White Sox acquired outfielder Juan Pierre and $10.5 million from the Los Angeles Dodgers for two players to be named.
