In brief: Arts center to host holiday event

POST FALLS – The Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center, 405 William St. in Post Falls, will host “Les Beaux Arts de JACC” on Dec. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The boutique will feature Christmas gifts crafted by local artists and will include wine, hors d’oeuvres and live music.

Group to perform ‘Babes in Toyland’

EMERSON/GARFIELD – The Spokane Children’s Theatre will perform “Babes in Toyland,” beginning Friday at 7 p.m. at the Lair Auditorium at Spokane Community College, 1810 N. Greene St.

Other performances are Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.; Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.; Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. (this performance will include signing for the hearing impaired); and Dec. 13 at 1 p.m.
