Kitchen Engine celebrates
The Frickle family is celebrating the Kitchen Engine’s six years with an anniversary event today through Friday.
There will be plenty of sales, door prizes and deals, but a highlight is free cooking demos and tastings from local chefs. There is simply too much to list but featured chefs include executive chef Bob Rogers from Masselow’s at Northern Quest Resort & Casino making cider braised pork belly, Julia Balassa-Myracle of Chocolate Myracles as she makes hand-rolled truffles, and Huckleberry’s Ninth Street Bistro executive chef Nicholas Marinovich, pictured above, making the Bistro’s signature curried red lentil salad. (I’ll be there Thursday and Friday morning, too.)
The store is open 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. today and Thursday. Friday hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Find details at www.thekitchen engine.com/joom/ or call the store at (509) 328-3335.
