BCS seeks title site
BCS conference officials have identified candidate cities to host the first championship game in college football’s new postseason system on Jan. 15, 2015, and the four current BCS bowls are among the choices. The current BCS games – Fiesta, Rose, Orange and Sugar – will enter an exclusive negotiating period, BCS executive director Bill Hancock said Monday. Commissioners will begin talking to organizers of those games about hosting the first national title game to be played under the newly developed four-team playoff system. ESPN.com reported the Georgia Dome and Dallas Cowboys Stadium would also be considered. – AP
