Obituary: Wold, Norma Jean (Liberg)

Age 87

WOLD, Norma Jean (Liberg) Norma Jean Liberg Wold was born on April 18, 1926 to Martin W. and Ethel Mcmillian Liberg on what was known as the Morgan Place, in farm country, five miles south of Genesee, Idaho.

Her early school years were spent at the Ingle School House.

Transportation was provided by her horse, Diamond.

Norma graduated from Genesee High School in 1944 and then attended Kinman Business School in Spokane.

She was employed by the Moore Real Estate Agency.

She married Lester G. Wold on December 15, 1946 and became a stay-at-home mom to Jim, Connie Liberg, Doug and Don.

Later, she returned to the workforce, working for the food service department in the West Valley School District, mostly at the high school.

She worked for over twenty five years then, retiring in 2011.

Norma went peacefully to the Lord on April 16, 2013.

A private graveside service will be held.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 4-8pm at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 3:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 8304 E. Buckeye Ave., Spokane, WA 99212.
