Obituary: Nord, Gregory Allen

NORD, Gregory Allen Greg passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on March 26, 2013.

He was born to Lester and Carol Nord in Spokane, WA, on July 26, 1952.

Greg worked for many years as a truck driver in the Spokane area.

His biggest joys were going to Priest Lake, motorcycles, collecting vintage cars, watching Star Trek, and listening to jazz.

Greg married Beverly Sweeney on August 3, 1991 in Coeur d’ Alene, ID.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Phillip; and granddaughter Jacqueleen Maria Nord.

Survivors include his wife Beverly, Spokane; daughters Janna (Sean) Forney, Lahken Heath AFB, England; and Virginia Nord, Spokane; aunt Fay Fuller, Spokane; stepchildren: Susan (Scott Rotering) Dixon, Covalis, MT; Jerry (Christina) Sweeney, Clayton, WA; grandchildren Stacie (Christopher) James, Spokane; Justin and Aaron Dixon, Missoula, MT; Ethan Dixon, Corvallis, MT and Taylor and Kylie Sweeney, Clayton, WA.

Memorial Services will be April 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., in the Spokane Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel, 2832 North Ruby , Spokane, WA.
