In Brief: World Food Day, Grape-to-Glass

Celebrate World Food Day with a farm-to-table dinner, dance and dessert auction Thursday night.

The Spokane Food Policy Council is hosting its Harvest Banquet, featuring locally grown food, at Salem Lutheran Church, 1428 W. Broadway Ave.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.

Grape-to-Glass Monday at Masselow’s

Barrister Winery and Masselow’s Restaurant at Northern Quest Resort and Casino are teaming up for the annual Grape-to-Glass dinner.

The event features a six-course meal as well as wine and a presentation by Barrister winemakers. Dinner includes regional cheeses, produce and mushrooms.

Tickets are $85. Seating is limited, but there are still a few spots available. Dinner is at 6 p.m. Monday at Masselow’s at the resort and casino, 110 N. Hayford Road in Airway Heights. Call (509) 481-6020.
