Age 57

LENNON, Theresa (Age 57) Passed away August 6, 2015 on her 33rd wedding anniversary, after a brief, but intense, two month battle with lung cancer.

Theresa was born July 22, 1958 in Wenatchee, WA.

She was preceded in death by her stillborn daughter, Tammy, her father, Leonard Montoya and her beloved grandson, Tommy Gianarelli.

Theresa is survived by the love of her life, husband Danny Lennon of Spokane; her mother, Donna (Ron) Halliday of Hayden, ID; daughter, Shari Gianarelli of Conrad, MT; son, John Lennon (Gina) of Murfreesboro, TN.

She is also survived by sisters, Sandra Gladish of Spokane, Gail (Bob) Fitzgerald of Rosalia, WA, brother Jeff Montoya of Boise, ID; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is already missed by the family cats, Divot and Emmy Lou.

The “Mex” as Theresa was affectionately known built a tremendous rapport with her customers as a bartender at the Fairwood Inn and Wandermere Golf Course.

Being raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Theresa was a huge Denver Bronco fan until Danny and John were able to show her the error of her ways and she became a Seahawk fan.

The Oregon Coast was her favorite place and she also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas each year to cheer on the Zags.

Theresa loved scrapbooking and introduced both of her granddaughters to the hobby.

All who knew Theresa will remember her for her generous spirit and her willingness to always stand up for the underdog.

A Memorial Service in Theresa’s honor will be hosted by her family Friday, August 14, 11:00 a.m. at Wandermere Golf Course.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Theresa’s memory to Second Harvest Inland Northwest or the Union Gospel Mission Inland Northwest.
