Obituary: Michelsen, Jane Susanne

MICHELSEN, Jane Susanne (Age 62) Jane Susanne Michelsen, passed away on Monday, July 20th, 2015, from complications following a stroke on July 4th.

Jane was born the oldest of three girls on June 14th, 1953 in Chico, California to William and Mary Sadler.

Her family relocated many times, finally settling in Spokane, WA in 1967.

Jane graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1971 and then attended the X-Ray School at Holy Family Hospital.

It was there that she met the love of her life, Claude Michelsen, whom she married March 10th, 1973 at Messiah Lutheran Church.

Jane and Claude had three sons, Brent, Bradley and Bryan and raised them in north Spokane.

She worked as a Radiological Technologist at Radiology Associates, and later as a mammographer for Inland Imaging before retiring in 2013.

Jane was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Family was the most important thing in her life.

She was a den mother for nine years, enjoyed gardening, crafts, antiquing, but most of all her family.

She will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

Jane is survived by her husband Claude; her mother Mary; her oldest son Brent, his wife Laura and their children Benjamin and Avery; her middle son Bradley, his wife Sarah and their children Brandon, Grace, Abigail, Elijah and Aaron; her youngest son Bryan, his wife Leah and their children Ashton, Ava, Elaina and Nora; her two younger sisters, Gail Haxton and Cindy Grieb.

She is predeceased by her father William Sadler.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 22nd, at Heritage Funeral Home.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jane’s life.
