Obituary: Osterholm, Kayln Renee

Age 20

OSTERHOLM, Kayln Renee: On March 13, 2015, God called Kayln home to heaven at the young age of 20.

She suffered a brain hemorrhage due to a rare condition called Brain Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM).

Kayln was born in Bellingham, Washington on September 3, 1994.

The family moved to Spokane in 2003.

Kayln attended Central Valley High School her freshman and sophomore year, where she made many good friends.

She graduated from Washington Academy of Arts and Technology, a home school program, in 2012.

Kayln enjoyed fashion, modeling and photography.

She loved spending time with her friends and listening to music.

Kayln had a compassionate heart with a deep love for animals and a desire to help anyone in need.

Kayln suffered from many health challenges during the last few years of her life yet kept her faith in the Lord.

The day before she passed away, Kayln said that she was not afraid of the future because she knew she would go to heaven.

During her short time here, she had a great impact on those around her.

So many people were blessed by Kayln’s kind heart and unconditional love.

We will miss her beautiful smile, her laugh, and her sparkling blue eyes.

We will always treasure the twenty years we had with her.

Kayln is survived by her parents, Tim and Tricia Osterholm, and her brother Nathen Osterholm, all of Spokane Valley; grandparents Jim and Judy Clark of Spokane Valley, Joe and Patricia Richmond of Yakima, and Charles Osterholm of Spokane.

She is also survived by several aunts and uncles: Ron and Ann Minton of Spokane Valley, Lonnie and Kim Osterholm of Deer Park, Mike Osterholm of Puyallup and Troy Osterholm of Las Vegas; cousins Katelyn Osterholm of Spokane, Samantha Hatchie and Sarah Minton of Spokane Valley, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

We are comforted by Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.

All these things are gone forever.”
