Spokane’s 3 Ninjas food truck is seeking $12,000 in a Kickstarter campaign to expand its hot sauce business.

The project will only be funded if the goal is met by Oct. 31.

The 3 Ninjas Mobile Food and Catering truck formed last year and began making its own hot sauces. Flavor profiles include Smokey Jalapeno, Mango Habanero, Habanero Pepper Jelly and the Jamaican-style Sweet Melissa with Scotch bonnet and jalapeno peppers, garlic and cilantro.

A successful fundraising campaign could help 3 Ninjas go from making small, daily batches to moving into a larger facility and upping production.
