Scare up some suds
This time of year, the best treats tend to come in liquid form – and area brewers are happy to help with that.
Here’s a rundown of Halloween weekend activities announced so far at local breweries and craft beer businesses (knowing brewers, more will pop up at the last minute, so keep checking back for updates):

– New Boundary is offering $3 pints to anyone in costume Friday or Saturday.
– Laughing Dog’s Haunted Firkin Friday features costume contests for both people and pooches along with the tapping of a surprise cask starting at 6 p.m.
– The Filling Station on 5th in Coeur d’Alene has its Hoppy Halloween , with $3 pints of Ninkasi Imperial Pumpkin Sleigh’r and D’s Wicked Baked Apple Cider for everyone coming in costume Friday and Saturday between 6 and 10 p.m. (and a $50 gift card for the winner of Saturday’s costume contest; judging at 8), along with food specials.
– Perry Street kicks off its festivities Saturday at 10:45 a.m. with a special ‘80s costume edition of Beer Flow Yoga (think neon, spandex and headbands), followed by $2 off growler fills all day and treats for all ages.
