Boys basketball: Cameron McKeown leads Post Falls over Lakeland
Cameron McKeown made 5 of 7 3-point attempts for 15 points to help Post Falls (4-0) defeat visiting Lakeland 61-24.
The Trojans had a great night sharing the ball, collecting 17 assists off 22 made field goals. A dominant 20-6 second quarter allowed Post Falls to lead 34-9 at intermission.
Jake Pfennigs and Colby Gennett added 11 points apiece for the Trojans.
Clarkston 69, Moscow 36: Jourdan Allen scored 12 points, Jett Sobotta added 11 points and the Bantams (2-2) defeated the visiting Bears (1-1).
Moscow was led in scoring by Cooper Stephens with 10 points.
Wallace 85, Kootenai 56: Erik Brackebush had a stellar night scoring 30 points with 11 rebounds to help the Miners defeat the Warriors.
Hunter Gust scored 19 points and Matt Farkas added 13 for Wallace.
St. Maries 58, Sandpoint 53: Brady Martin scored 12 points and the Lumberjacks (2-0) defeated the visiting Bulldogs.
Ultimately, St. Maries was able to hang on to this one playing strong defense. Kiefer Gibson had 11 points and grabbed 15 rebounds while Dakota Wilson recorded five steals with five assists and Jacob Sieler added seven steals.
Spencer Thompson went 10 of 12 from the line and led Sandpoint with 16 points and Taran McGaughlin went 3 of 5 from the 3-point line to close the gap in the second half.
