1. “Moana” Wednesday, seating opens at 7, screening begins at dusk, Riverfront Park, 507 N. Howard St. BECU is sponsoring the Outdoor Movies at Riverfront Park series. This week’s screening features the Oscar-nominated Disney film about a girl who teams with a demigod to save her people. 5. “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” 7 p.m. Monday, Bing Crosby Theater, 901 W. Sprague Ave. In the world of Robert Zemeckis’ 1988 film, cartoon stars mingle with humans and one of Toontown’s leading citizens, Roger Rabbit, sets out to investigate rumors regarding his wife Jessica, whom he suspects may be romantically involved with businessman Marvin Acme. When Acme winds up dead, all evidence points to Roger Rabbit. 8. Early Ford V-8 Show and Swap Meet 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. Havana St. 14th annual event. Buy, sell, swap , antique and street rod cars, parts, literature, auto, tractors, farm and transportation collectibles, antiques and toys. All parts and cars for sale welcome. No advance registration needed for car show. More than 50 car awards will be presented – total cars will be in the vicinity of 300. There will be DJ music, food vendors, car raffle prizes and a goodie bag for each car. This year’s car show is open to all years and makes. 9. Art on the Street 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Spokane Art School, 809 W. Garland Ave. Art on the Street is a free art-making event that is held during the summer. Several eight-foot easels are placed in front of the Spokane Art School and a well-known local artist facilitates an impromptu drawing/art session. Karen Mobley will host this weekend’s event.
