Prep baseball roundup: Freeman, Deer Park advance to District 7 1A title game

Desmond Parisotto allowed four hits in a complete game shutout and Freeman (18-2) beat visiting Colville (8-10) 10-0 in the District 7 1A playoffs on Wednesday.

Simon Rooney drove in three runs for Freeman, which faces Deer Park for the district title on Friday at 6 p.m. at Avista Stadium. Both teams in the final qualify for state.

Colville plays Chewelah at Avista on Friday at 3:30 p.m. for the third district berth to state.

Deer Park 7, Chewelah 1: Nathan Bouldin scattered a pair of hits, allowed one run and struck out six in a complete game performance to lead the visiting Stags (13-6) over the Cougars (12-7).

Robert Bolton drove in a pair of runs for Deer Park.
