Police: 3 people stabbed on NYC street, suspect fled

NEW YORK – Police say three people have been stabbed on a New York City street, but they are expected to live.

It’s not clear what prompted the stabbing Wednesday afternoon in midtown Manhattan. Police say the suspect fled and the victims were hospitalized.
