Wrestling: Chase Randall helps Mead continue its dominance, defeat Rogers

Chase Randall pinned Antonio Ramirez in a minute and 15 seconds and the Panthers (8-0) beat the Pirates (2-5) 61-15 on Wednesday in a Greater Spokane League dual.

Rogers’ Josh Guzik pinned Joshua Huffman in 1:07.

Mt. Spokane 49, North Central 18: Freshman Ky Haney defeated Kadin Shaw, a 2017 state placer, 5-1 and Mt. Spokane (8-0) beat North Central (3-5). North Central’s Clayton Gilliam who is ranked No. 2 at 126 pounds, defeated defending state champ Blake Haney 8-5.

University 67, Lewis and Clark 8: Terrell Sanders pinned John Farley in 53 seconds and the Titans (6-2) defeated the Tigers (2-6). Caden Rhine of Lewis and Clark scored a technical fall (16-0) victory over Daniel Guzman.

East Valley 51, Cheney 22: Winston Scott pinned Mason Allan in 24 seconds and the Knights beat the Blackhawks. Alan Coumbs of Cheney scored a major decision (15-3) over Matthew Mason.
