Vote for your favorite Spokane pie place

Spokane fans can vote for their pie maker once a day through Friday.

The top three vote-getters in Spokane’s Favorite Pie Contest will be asked to offer up a scratch-made pie for a taste-testing event to name the winning pie.

In the running are:

Cole’s Bakery and Cafe

Lilac City Bakery

Rockwood Bakery

Spencer’s Steakhouse

Sweet Dreams Bakery

Sweet Frostings

Or, voters can opt to write in a favorite local pie maker.

The contest helps promote “Waitress,” which will be staged in December at the First Interstate Center for the Arts. “Waitress” tells the story of Jenna, a waitress who enters a baking contest and discovers it’s all about “what’s inside.”
