Food co-op seeks board members
The Moscow Food Co-op is seeking candidates for its nine-member board of directors.
There are three open seats. People who are interested in promoting the local and sustainable food and goods economy are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be co-owners.
The Moscow Food Co-op, established in 1973, has more than 7,700 owners.
Board members create and maintain a Strategic Plan and Ends Policy and hold accountable the general manager among other responsibilities.
There’s a perk: board members receive an 18-percent discount on all co-op purchases.
Applications are due Jan. 31.

The co-op is at 121 E. Fifth St. in Moscow. There’s a satellite location on the University of Idaho campus at 822 Elm St.
