Five Frontier Conference teams are ranked in the NAIA Top 25 poll.
These are those teams:
#3 Montana Western
#8 Carroll College
#17 Rocky Mountain
#18 Lewis-Clark State
#20 Providence
Rocky’s head coach, Wes Keller, and his team had two huge wins last week including a victory over Carroll College.
On Thursday night, the Battlin’ Bears welcome #3 ranked Montana Western to the Fortin Center. Despite the high ranking for Western, Keller explained he doesn’t pay much attention to the national polls when it comes to teams in the Frontier Conference. Keller said, “There are 5 teams in our league that are ranked and the other two could beat you on any given night. So, you know, the thing about the frontier conference is you have got to show up and compete and play harder or things aren’t going to go well for you.”
