The House and Senate Education committees are taking public testimony this morning, in a joint “listening session” in the Capitol Auditorium from 8-10:30 a.m. “The public is invited to speak … on matters pertaining to education,” according to the meeting agenda. Those speaking will be limited to three minutes apiece; they’re also being asked to provide a written copy of their statement. In addition, the committees will accept comments submitted by email; they can be sent to hedu@house.idaho.gov.

House Education Chairman Reed DeMordaunt, R-Eagle, said, "We want to invite all citizens to attend and share their thoughts on how our education system can be improved."
