Massage therapy standards bill killed in the Senate
With no debate, the Senate has voted 14-20 against HB 7, legislation regarding state-registered massage therapy schools. The bill, which earlier passed the House on a 39-30 vote, would have authorized the state Board of Massage Therapy to review and approve curriculum standards for massage therapy schools. Proposed by the state Bureau of Occupational Licenses, the bill included an emergency clause. Sen.
