SSA to lease third Iron Bridge building

Rendering of the west elevation of the planned $6 million third Iron Bridge buidling.
The Social Security Administration will occupy a planned 46,000-square-foot building at the Iron Bridge office park in Spokane, the developer says.

The U.S. General Services Administration has signed two letters of intent to lease space in the building, 714 N. Iron Bridge Way, for administration field offices and for the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, said developer Kent Hull.

Constructing the building, the third at the development, is expected to cost $6 million, with financing provided by the Bank of Whitman, he said.

The SSA offices would take up the entire first floor and 15,000 square feet of the second floor, Hull said.

Iron Bridge also is designing and looking to line up tenants for a fourth building, which would sit along the Spokane River.
