Taryn: The Idaho SR Was “Damn Fine”

I want to thank everyone who has expressed concern and kindness for myself and my colleagues. The Idaho office of The Spokesman-Review was a damn fine crew. Damn fine crew. We worked hard and we worked great together. I'm sure we'll all be OK. Frankly, I am most saddened for the community. I am saddened for the people who have loyally subscribed to the paper and relied on the newspaper for solid coverage of the North Idaho community. I am saddened to realize that there is not a commitment that the newspaper is not committed to covering my community. I am sad for the colleagues who are left to try to cover the community -- in North Idaho and Washington -- with the limited resources that are left. Thanks again to everyone for their support. You all are the reason I live (and worked) where I do (did).
