RSR: Idaho Doesn’t Count In Clinton Math

You may have heard Clinton campaigners talk over the weekend about the idea that Clinton leads in the popular vote and that more people have voted for her than any other presidential candidate in primary history. It isn't true. Senator Clinton certainly attracted a lot of support, but she continues to fall somewhat short of Barack Obama in every measurement, including the popular vote. This diary at Daily Kos explains that in coming up with the much-vaunted 17 million figure, Clinton excluded all caucus states - including Idaho. By including the caucus states and excluding the territories that do not get delegates in the general election, and even including Florida and Michigan, the current popular vote estimate is 17,780,516 for Obama and 17,589,514 for Clinton/Julie Fanselow, Red State Rebels.
