Nonini, Henderson Lead Charge For Lake CdA Docks
Item: Idaho House debates Lake CdA docks/Betsy Z. Russell, Spokesman-Review
More Info: Idaho’s House of Representatives voted today to turn back the legal clock to 1953 to help certain North Idaho property owners who want to build docks, despite a public road running between their land and Lake Coeur d’Alene. The vote was close – 37-32 – but HB 565 passed and now moves to the Senate for further consideration, despite questions about its constitutionality.
DFO: I lambasted Nonini, Henderson and Chadderdon for their votes here b/c I thought this issue was about Sanders Beach docks. Henderson assures Huckleberries Online that it's about property with his District 5 (Post Falls area) and not District 4 (Coeur d'Alene). Mea culpa.
