Cindy Encounters Racist Salon Tech

On her Facebook wall, Cindy mentions a close encounter with a racist salon technician: "Went to a salon to get my eyebrows waxed. The technician admired my nails and asked where I got them done. I told her and she asked 'Are they white?' I looked at her blankly. 'I only want to have white people do my nails,' she said. I had to shut my gaping mouth because she had hot wax in her hand. But how I wish I could have thought of something appropriately withering to say."

Question: What would you have done in Cindy's situation?
