Breaking Down Recall Effort Myths

On a flyer prepared by Ron Lahr's Strategery Group & circulated at the Republican Women's Club luncheon last week, the Recallers claim that Mayor Sandi Bloem & the targetted council members (Deanna Goodlander, Woody McEvers and Mike Kennedy) are "Arrogant" because "They promised in open meetings to compromise, yet they PURSUE THEIR AGENDAS behind closed doors."

DFO: Seems to me that the only ones who have compromised on the McEuen Field project are Bloem & the three council members, reining back the pie-in-the-sky original dream project from the original estimate of $28 to $42 million to one with a price tag of $14.2 million. They've left the boat launch. They are planning to build a $3 million American Legion Baseball field on Cherry Hill to replace the one of far less value on McEuen Field. Meanwhile, Ron Edinger, Steve Adams and Dan Gookin remain dug in on compromise from their side. Edinger and Adams would prefer to see boat-trailer parking remain on a valuable piece of lakeshore real estate in the lower parking lot -- a place that could serve the community well into the future as a beautiful amphitheater for outdoor concerts and gatherings. There's been a lack of compromise. But it has been on the side promoted by the Recallers. Mebbe the council can compromise once more by moving the baseball diamond to the current location of McEuen 1 and opening up the current diamond site and lower parking lot for the rest of the community.

Question: Which group would you classify as arrogant: Mayor Sandi Bloem & targetted council members (for allegations made in flyer)? Council members Ron Edinger, Dan Gookin and Steve Adams (for refusing to compromise)? Or Souza-Sims-Recall effort for making this allegation?
