Post ‘Booze Cruise’ Fight Hurts 46YO

A not-so-funny item from Downtown Coeur d'Alene Bar Report (at 10 p.m. July 14 at City Beach): "Officers responded to a fight call involving several very intoxicated males and large crowd of people who had just left a radio “Booze Cruise.” The victim, a 46 year old male, had been on the cruise with several other relatives. According to one of his relatives, the offenders were two males (both 24 years) who had been on the cruise that evening (allegedly) trying to start fights and bragging about having mixed martial arts training. After the cruise docked, the males were still trying to start fights and when they walked by the victim’s brother (42 years) he quietly told them to “keep walking.” The younger male (allegedly) responded by rushing the older male. The victim then attempted to break up the fight getting punched several times in the back of the head causing facial fractures and the permanent loss of vision in one eye. The (suspects) were later identified through cruise photos inadvertently taken by one of the victim’s relatives." Full July 2012 Downtown Coeur d'Alene Bar Report here.
