As I write this early Saturday morning, I'm listening to a debate led by Piers Morgan re: the possible need for tighter gun control in this country in wake of the latest massacre by a mad gun man. I know those are fighting words for many North Idahoans. I also know that it's only a matter of time that another slaughter like this one. Or Virginia Tech. Or Tucson. Or Columbine will occur to shock us. I don't know what the answer is. But I know that we can't continue to wring or hands, say solemn words and pray that we personally will never be victimized by this sort of madness. Now for your Weekend Wild Card ...
