Update: Ryan flipped the switch on new Disqus system at 2:25 p.m.

From SR Online Editor Ryan Pitts: "This morning, we updated the Disqus database with all of the latest comments from our website. Any comments left today (Jan. 31), however, won't be in the new system yet. When we switch over our comment threads, we'll immediately start an import of all of today's comments, but it may take a few hours for them to show up. We apologize for interrupting those conversations, but when you're moving more than half a million comments from one place to another, there's not really a great way to make everything perfectly seamless."

DFO: Basically, this means that all comments to this point today will be disabled when the techs hit the switch in three/two/one ... But they'll return when the system reinstalls them. Meanwhile, all comments from this point on are disabled as the new Disqus system takes hold. Patience, my dear Huckleberries, patience.
