JohnA: Diamond Has Served Us Well

JohnA: The city's Parking Commission manages all downtown parking decisions and makes recommendations to the council on any management contracts. Diamond has been a great company to work with since I negotiated the first contract with them in 1993. Since that time they've provided over $1 million in revenues to the city's parking fund via their collection of fees for parking over 2 hours. I would expect they will be in place when the new parking is ready for the public, hopefully with the same 2 hours free parking as before, and monthly permits available for downtown workers.

Question: What would be an acceptable rate for future parking in the new downtown Coeur d'Alene garage?
