Capone’s 12 Ales Of Xmas Sold Out

First, the bad news, if you haven't already got your ticket: The 18th annual 12 Ales of Christmas at Capone's in Coeur d'Alene sold out earlier today. Now the good news, potentially: Capone's is looking at ways to squeeze in a few more folks for the always-popular event. There's already a wait list for that, along with any cancellations; you can add your name by calling (208) 667-4843. The cost is $50, but you get a lot for your money. First and foremost, of course, are the seven-ounce pours of a dozen seasonal beers - well, 13, actually (Capone's tends to tap an extra). Along with such old standbys as Sierra's Celebration, Deschutes' Jubelale and Pyramid's Snow Cap, look for the likes of Wallace Brewing's Winter Ale, Sockeye's Winterfest and the Velvet Mocha Merlin from Firestone Walker/Rick Bonino, On Tap. More here.
