Wild Card/Tuesday — 4.14.15

I still haven't recovered from that irresponsible vote by state Rep. Kathy Sims & Co. that KO'd the Child Support services bill in the House Judiciary & Rules Committee. Nor am I confident that Gov. Butch Otter will do the right thing and call a special session of the Legislature (including the clueless Idaho House that went along with the Judiciary & Rules Committee vote) to fix the mess. All of which reminds me of a friend's Facebook post: "If Spokane's motto is 'Near nature, near perfect,' Idaho's motto should be 'Near insanity -- Run!" Or maybe: 'Idaho: Proudly protecting deadbeat dads since 2015.'" The Red Queen of Hearts reins in this crazy wonderland of ours. Here's today's Wild Card ...
