Thief Steals Candy, Leaves License

From Post Falls Police Department Graveyard Shift last night via Facebook: "Asset protection (Post Falls Super 1 observed a man put two candy bars in his pocket and eventually walk out of the store without paying for them. The employee confronted the suspect outside at his vehicle and was given a driver’s license from the suspect. After the employee told the suspect to return to the store to wait for the police, the suspect jumped in his vehicle and told his friend to drive away, leaving his identification card with the employee. A report was completed for charges."
