Plenty To Do On The 4th

Saturday will be a day of patriotism as Fourth of July events in Coeur d'Alene start with the annual American Heroes Parade. The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Sherman Avenue and 15th Street, moving west toward Government Way. After the parade, which is about an hour long, vendors will be at Coeur d'Alene City Park all day. There will be karaoke in the park at 4 p.m. and local band Nu Jack City will begin playing at 6 p.m. Steve Wilson, president of the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce, said the Snake Pit Roller Derby Dames will be collecting money along the parade route for donations toward the fireworks show set to begin at dusk, around 9:45 p.m. over Lake Coeur d'Alene, off Independence Point/Mary Malone, Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.

Question: How do you plan to spend the 4th of July?
