Lantzy Is Idaho Parks Artist

Huckleberries hears ... that Linda Lantzy of Idaho Scenic Images has been selected as the 2015 Artist in Residence for Idaho's State Parks system. Linda has confirmed that she has won this honor. But she's waiting on a news release before sending it to Huckleberries Online. Meanwhile, Arpie brought this great news to my attention. Arpie said: "Linda Lantzy is one of my favorite photographers. She knows Idaho so well. I'm anxious for more of her work featuring our beautiful parks. This is great news!" I agree with Arpie. =

Rick Just, president of Friends of Idaho State Parks sent the followng press release: Coeur d’Alene photographer Linda Lantzy has been selected as the 2015 Artist in Residence for Idaho’s state parks, sponsored by Friends of Idaho State Parks. Lantzy, well‐known for her dramatic composition and lighting, spends much of her time in Idaho’s great outdoors. This summer she will be spending more of it in state parks capturing the natural beauty of the “Jewels of the Gem State.” Her work will be featured at events sponsored by the Friends of Idaho State Parks, and will be available to the public. This fall she will teach a photography workshop in at least one of the parks. More here.

DFO: Many of you have seen Linda's scenic photographs here, including the one above which was taken this morning of the sunrise over the Spokane River. Please join me in giving Linda a giant SAAALUTE!
