Tod Marshall, poet laureate of Washington, is putting the finishing touches on a book of poems by our late friend Tom Wobker, The Bard of Sherman Avenue. Tod hopes to have the book finished by Christmas or shortly thereafter. He wants me to write something for the intro or back jacket. If I could write poetry as Tom could, I would dash out 4 quick lines, maybe 12 to 15 words in all to make you smile. But my writing skills are bounded by three dots ... so it'll take longer.
