Volunteers needed for half Ironman

Ironman 70.3 Coeur d'Alene is roughly one week away and hundreds of volunteers are still needed. Dani Zibell-Wolfe, volunteer director for Ironman Coeur d'Alene, said the half-Ironman will require about 1,500 total volunteers and at least 600 are still needed. The key positions where volunteers are needed include crowd control, aid stations and athlete massage. Safety is the main reason for so many volunteers, Zibell-Wolfe said. Crowd control volunteers will help ensure the safety of pedestrians and direct people to where they need to go/Mary Malone, Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.

Question: Have you ever volunteered to help during IronmanCDA?
