Fulfilling its mission to hold lawmakers accountable for their votes, on Wednesday the Idaho Freedom Foundation released its final Freedom Index. The Freedom Index serves as Idaho’s only scorecard to keep legislators accountable when they support big government, higher taxes, and more counterproductive rules and regulations. IFF Senior Policy Director Lindsay Russell Dexter lauded legislators at the top of the Freedom Index for taking principled, conservative stands for limited government. “We praise Reps. Ron Nate of Rexburg, Heather Scott of Blanchard and Steven Harris of Meridian for regularly voting for Idaho families, taxpayers and small businesses,” Russell Dexter said Wednesday. “We also applaud Sens. Steve Vick of Dalton Gardens, Bob Nonini of Coeur d’Alene and Sheryl Nuxoll of Grangeville for opposing big government bills this year.” More here. (Photo from state Rep. Heather Scott's Facebook page, taken at 2015 Priest River Days).

Question: Could it be that those on the top of the Idaho Freedom Foundation list should be at the bottom of everyone else's?
