I must admit that Brent Regan, the board chairman of Idaho Freedom Foundation who seems to have his mitts in all things Tea Party/Redoubt movement or whatever you want to call it, has provided quite a service for Huckleberries Online. By circulating his endorsements from his "Official Republican Primary Ballot” to neighbors (along with his announcement of his Precinct 61 committeeman candidacy), he has helped me decide whom not to vote for. For example, Regan favors Bob Bingham in the race for Commission District 3. I was undecided, although leaning toward my friend, Duane Rasmussen. Now, I know for sure not to vote for Bingham. His support for “constitutional sheriff” John Green, of course, is something I will ignore. I prefer a sheriff who enforces the law, not interprets it. I find it interesting that he offers no choice in the other commissioner race between David Stewart and Chris Fillios. Finally, Regan has confirmed that Curt McKenzie is the Tea Party candidate in the four-way race for the open Idaho Supreme Court justice seat. Thanks, Brent/DFO.
