Poll: Amador was biggest winner

  • Weekend Poll: Hucks Nation said newcomer Paul Amador was the biggest winner among several choices among North Idaho choices in the Idaho GOP Tuesday. Amador defeated three-term state Rep. Kathy Sims, R-Coeur d'Alene, to advance to a general election contest against Democrat Tom Hearns. 200 of 474 respondents (42.19%) said Amador was the biggest winner in the primary election. 89 of 474 (18.78%) said "all of the above" was the biggest winner. Also: 64 (18.78%) said the biggest winner was state Rep. Luke Malek, R-Coeur d'Alene; 51 (10.76%) said Sheriff Ben Wolfinger; 45 (9.49%) said Sen Shawn Keough, R-Sandpoint; 14 (2.95%) said "none of the above"; and 11 (2.32%) said North Idaho PAC.
