Bob: Dems should shed Satanic ‘D’

Uncle Bob (Malloy: Democrats target Redoubter Scott): I wish I could share your optimism regarding Scott's abundantly necessary defeat, but she has the magic (R.) by her name on the ballot, and, well, I've spent some time in her district. She has an extremely qualified opponent that almost certainly would win were it not for having the mark of Satan (D.) adjacent her name on the same ballot. Simply put, were the Democratic Party in Idaho to officially disband and casually reorganize as the "Independent Party" today, they would triple their collective support within one Legislative session. Until they ditch the mark of Satan (D.), they're toast (of varying degrees between burnt and charcoal).

Question: I like the idea of developing a strong Independent party in Idaho. Thoughts?
