National Pancake Day

You still have about 3 hours to cash in on National Pancake Day at the International House of Pancakes. Here's the skewp:

The International House of Pancakes is giving customers a chance to put their money where their mouth is. On Tuesday, IHOP celebrates its annual National Pancake Day with a free short stack for customers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Some locations will offer the deal until 10 p.m. Rather than paying the typical $4.79 for a short stack, IHOP is asking customers to donate to one of its partnered charities instead. More here.

DFO: I prefer pancakes to waffles. Any day. Don't care for the waffle ridges. However, I like pancakes the way my mother used to make for us. 2 fluffy pancakes (never more than two) with at least two eggs between them, sunny side up. With maple syrup on top, all the ingredients run together for a little slice of heaven.

Question: Which do you prefer? Hotcakes? Or Waffles? How do you like them served?
