In case you were wondering, as Huckleberries was, the target date for the opening of the Coeur d'Alene Carousel is June 9. According to the Coeur d'Alene Carousel Foundation Facebook site, the Carousel will open with a Family Day in the Park & Fancy Flea Market. The activity will spread from City Park to Memorial Plaza and Memorial Field to Coeur d'Alene Skate Plaza. The opening coincides with the last day of school.The Carousel Foundation is still fund-raising. You can find more information here.
