The Slice

Seasoning

With fall starting tomorrow, it seems like a good time to ask.

How would you rate Spokane's ruggedness when it comes to the approach of winter-like weather?

A) Extra rugged.

B) There is no such thing as a "Spokane" attitude. Different individuals respond differently to the prospect of snow, et cetera.

C) Biggest babies on the northern tier. Except for Seattle.

D) The whole winter driving thing demonstrates the least impressive learning curve in human history.

E) Nobody digs driving on ice.

F) I think the winter whiners get all the attention but the majority of residents are closer to "What are you gonna do?"

G) A large percentage of the non-skier population would be much, much happier in San Diego but it's too expensive.

H) One reason people get cold is they refuse to dress appropriately for inclement conditions.

I) Other.
