Halftime: Nevada 28, Idaho 3

Nevada controlled the first half, rolling up 421 yards to go up 28-3 over Idaho at the Kibbie Dome. Colin Kaepernick, UNR's dynamic senior QB, was 17 of 24 for 275 passing yards and four touchdowns in the first half. Nevada drove 94 yards in the last 46 seconds of the second quarter to score its final TD. It also missed two field goals.

Idaho, playing without tight end Daniel Hardy and safety Gary Walker, mustered just 96 yards in the first half (most on one drive that resulted in its field goal). Nate Enderle was 7 of 20 for 80 yards.
